New Delhi: Cricketer KL Rahul and actress Athiya Shetty’s rumored wedding has been the talk of town for quite some and latest reports suggest that the duo will most likely tie the knot early next year.
Though the couple have been dating for almost 3 years now but mostly remained mum on their relationship. It’s after they talked about plans of marriage, though didn’t reveal much, the industry is abuzz about high-profile marriage.
Reports suggest that Rahul & Athiya are likely to get married at actor-father Suniel Shetty’s Khandala bungalow.
In one of first official confirmation about their imminent marriage, Athiya’s dad Suniel Shetty got talking about the wedding plans. In a recent conversation with media, the actor-father said that all possible dates are under consideration and hopefully it will happen soon, considering groom & bride’s busy schedule.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Suneil Shetty said, “Hopefully soon, we will know when and where will it (wedding) happen. I guess at the right time, everyone will know (details about the wedding).”
Even, during the trailer launch of his recent movie Dharavi Bank, when the actor was asked about marriage, he had replied, “Jaldi hogi (it will happen).”
A leading entertainment portal also reported that the couple recently visited Khandala bungalow to oversee the arrangements & preparations for their big night. Though, from dates to clothing, everything is under wraps but it is most likely to be traditional wedding, reports said.
Lovebirds Athiya & Rahul have often been seen together but they chose to make their relationship official by appearing together at Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap’s premiere.
