New Delhi: Wishes have been pouring in for RamLeela actor Ranveer Singh as he turned 37 today, i.e. on Wednesday. While his fans and followers are flooding social media with their heartiest well-wishes and love for the Bollywood actor, it was filmmaker Karan Johar’s quirky birthday wish that stood out.
On a humorous note, Johar shared a video clip on social media from his upcoming chat show, wherein Ranveer Singh along with his Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-star Alia Bhatt was seen recreating an iconic comic scene from Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham.
The epic scene features Kajol’s character Anjali and Farida Jalal as Sayeeda sarcastically mimicking their English neighbours in London.
In the video clip, Ranveer can be seen lip-synching Farida Jalal’s dialogue “Oh hello Sugar”, while Alia hilariously lip-synchs Kajol as “Oh hello Mrs Sprightley”.

Sharing the witty recreation on Instagram, Johar wrote in caption, “It’s our Rocky’s rocking birthday and to make it even more special, we have his Rani by our side! Catch more of their laughter with me on the couch on the first episode of Hotstar specials Koffee With Karan S7, starting tomorrow on Disney+Hotstar”.

For the unversed, Karan Johar’s much anticipated celebrity chat show is gearing up for release from Thursday, July 7 onwards. Interestingly, the seventh season of the show will be streaming on digital platform Disney+ Hotstar this once instead of a television premiere.
On Tuesday, Johar had dropped the promo from the first episode of the show featuring first celebrity duo Ranveer and Alia for the newest season.
