New Delhi: The seventh season of the popular reality show Koffee With Karan hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar seems to have gotten a little monotonous in terms of repeated discussions or comparisons made with actor Alia Bhatt, who beyond any doubt happens to be KJo’s favourite.
After mentioning Bhatt in the second episode of the show, which was graced by Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, in the third and latest episode consisting of actors Akshay Kumar and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as guests saw the pattern repeat itself, that however did not go well with Netizens.
In the recently released episode, KJo ends up asking Samantha how she felt after ‘beating’ Alia Bhatt on the Ormax list. Instead of being awkward or annoyed by the question, Prabhu came up with a sarcastic comeback saying, “Good indeed. I paid the people over at Ormax a pretty high price to top the list”.

No matter how sassy Samantha has been throughout the show despite being asked several annoying questions on the chat show, social media users were quick to notice the unneccesary and irrelevant mention of Alia’s name on the show and begin trolling Johar for continously promoting Alia on the show.
