New Delhi: Bollywood’s dearest fashion designers Kunal Rawal and Arpita Mehta will walk down the aisle on Sunday, August 28 at Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace in an intimate ceremony. Prior to their wedding, the duo orchestrated a pre-wedding bash in Mumbai, for their friends and colleagues from the industry on Friday, August 26.
The pre-wedding jollity has already started and several celebs including Malaika Arora, Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan with his lady Natasha Dalal, Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor along with Maheep Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor were seen attending the gala evening. Producer Jackky Bhagnani with Rakul Preet Singh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rhea Kapoor, and fashion designers Nachiket Barve, Gaurav Gupta, Gaurav Khanijo, Ujjawal Dubey, Nishka Lulla, Masaba Gupta, Falguni and Shane Peacock and celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania also haunt for the starry evening.
Conjuring in black, Arpita’s ensemble culminated in a fishtail-styled lehenga paired with a chic and hot blouse. The sheer dupatta with threadwork enumerating was hung like a sari pallu. She accessorised with a necklace and a small maang tika. The tone-on-tone embroidery added a hint of shimmer to her monochrome outfit. Kunal looked debonair in a black sherwani, complementing his bride-to-be. And the guests were seen dressed in a colour palette of white and black, with traditional attires taking centre stage.

Janhvi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor staggered in ivory sarees with sequin detailing whereas Malaika Arora looked wondrous in an ivory lehenga set with lace detailing. Varun Dhawan looked spunky for the event in a white kurta and pajama combo with a blazer while Natasha looked splendid in a white lehenga choli. And Karan Johar looked well formed in all black.
