Kurangu Pedal OTT Release Date: Kurangu Pedal, which is Santhosh Velmurugan and  V.R.Ragavan’s latest Tamil drama is soon going to grace the screens on OTT.

Helmed by Kamala Kannan, the flicker earlier arrived on the big screens on May 3rd, 2024 & received a lukewarm reception from the audience. Now, its makers have also revealed the deets regarding the film’s digital debut, triggering waves of excitement amongst the fans.

Kurangu Pedal OTT Release Date

On June 10th, 2024, Aha Video, teased Tamil movie enthusiasts by announcing that Karangu Pedal will premiere on the digital platform in the coming week on June 14.

Taking to its official X (Previously Twitter), the South Indian OTT giant officially confirmed that Kurangu Pedal will stream on Aha Tamil from June 14, 2024, onwards & shared an intriguing trailer of the film.

In the same post, the streaming portal also attached a caption that read, “Oru cycle ootradhu avalo kastama Kurangu Pedal premiering on aha Tamil from June 14th.

The story of Kurangu Pedal goes all the way back to the 80s era. It beautifully portrays the the tale of a kid Mirappan (Santhosh Velmurugan) who wants to master the skill of riding a bicycle during his summer break. However, his dad, who doesn’t know how to ride a cycle struggles to teach him the same & eventually refuses to do it at all.

How Mirappan’s father’s inability to teach his son cycle affects their relationship & how the young boy takes the matter into his own hands is the remaining story of the film.

Kurangu Pedal Cast and Production

Besides Santosh, Kurangu Pedal also features Kaali Venkat, Jenson Diwakar M.Gnanasekar, Rathish, V. R. Raghavan, Prasanna Balachander and Sai Ganesh in pivotal roles. SuMee Baskaran in collaboration with  Sivakarthikeyan has produced the film under the banner of Sivakarthikeyan Productions.
