New Delhi: Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hedge’s next untitled movie, #SSMB28 directed by Trivikram Srinivas has been launched in Hyderabad. The film’s team head to Ramanaidu Studios, earlier on Thursday launched the film, and delivered the first clap in an event that was closed off to the public.
The launching ceremony was held privately and actress Pooja Hedge along with Namrata Shirodkar, Trivikram, and producer Naga Vamsi was seen. According to the sources, Mahesh Babu was not present at the ceremony as it’s a sentiment of his to not attend his film’s launches. Besides, the actor also skipped the launch of Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

This film will mark Mahesh Babu’s third collaboration with Trivikram. Previously, the dup worked together for Athadu and Khaleja, with the former being a massive hit of his career. The actor also worked with Pooja Hedge in Maharshi, which is another biggest hit of his career. In SSMB28, Mahesh Babu will deliver a new look and fans can’t keep calm. Regular shooting will start in April while makers are planning to release the film on Sankranthi next year. Thaman S will compose the music.
Currently, Mahesh Babu is shooting for Parasuram Petla’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata with Keerthy Suresh as his co-star. The film is yet to wrap up the shoot and is scheduled to make its release on May 12, 2023. He also has SS Rajamouli’s adventure drama in the pipeline.
