New Delhi: The entertainment industry and fans are surprised yet ecstatic with the happy news of Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy just within two months of her tying knot with long-time boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
In a sudden announcement post on Monday, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pics with her followers. While the first pic is from Alia’s ultrasound appointment at the hospital wherein hubby Ranbir can be seen sitting beside her, the second pic shows a lion couple along with their cub.
“Our baby ….. coming soon”, she captioned the post.

While the Kapoor and Bhatt family along with others from the film industry are showering congratulatory messages on the couple, several paps congratulated Ranbir’s mother Neetu Singh for the happy news, on which she couldn’t help herself but kept smiling.

For the unversed, Brahamastra co-stars Alia and Ranbir tied knot in an intimate ceremony at their Bandra residence on April 14 this year.
Meanwhile, before the sudden announcement about Alia’s pregnancy, Ranbir recently had hinted about it at his upcoming period film ‘Shamshera’ promotions.
“Abhi mujhe bahot kaam karna hai sir. Abhi mujhe family banani hai, unke liye kaam karna hai. Pehle mai khudke liye kaam karraha tha. Nahi nahi, abhi mai bahot kaam karunga (I would have to put in a lot of work right now. I want to extend my family now and work for them. Earlier I used to work for myself but now I will work real hard for my family)”, he had said.
