New Delhi: Television actress Shweta Tiwari landed herself in trouble after she made a controversial statement regarding God while talking about her innerwear in a press conference in Bhopal. Shweta Tiwari on Wednesday stated “Mere bra ki size Bhagwan le rahe hai (God is measuring my bra),” while talking about her upcoming series ‘Show Stopper.’
Reportedly, she was referring to Sourabh Raaj Jain, who is popular in playing Lord Krishna’s role in the TV serial Mahabharata will be playing the role of bra-fitter in the new web series. Although jokingly commented, the matter did not end up well with everyone.

As soon as the video went viral on the micro-blogging site, netizens condemned the statement that Shweta Tiwari stated. Within seconds her name appeared to be trending on Twitter. Netizens have shown utter disgust against her for bringing in the context of God while talking about her innerwear.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra has directed the police to investigate the matter and to prepare a report regarding the same within 24 hours. While talking to the media, he stated, “I have seen and heard Shweta Tiwari’s statement. I have instructed the Bhopal Police Commissioner to investigate and submit a report to me soon.”

Shweta Tiwari was last seen on Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and was among the top five contestants of the show with Arjun Bijlani, Divyanka Tripathi, Varun Sood, and Vishal Aditya Singh. The stunt-based reality show was won by Arjun Bijlani.
