New Delhi: Jr NTR is one of the most successful and talented actors of the Indian Film Industry. He is the son of actor and politician Nandamuri Harikrishna and Shalini Bhaskar Rao. His father was of Telugu descent and mother is a Kannadiga who hails from Karnataka. Jr NTR is the grand son of former Andhra Chief Minister N T Rama Rao. Jr NTR’s real name is Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and he is one of the known actors in the Telugu film industry.

He completed his schooling from Vidyaranya High School, Hyderabad and completed his Intermediate education at St Mary’s college Hyderabad. The RRR actor is also a trained Kuchipudi dancer.

Jr NTRs’ Film Debut
He made his film debut with the film ‘Brahmrishi Vishwamitra’ as a child artist when he was 7 years old. The film was written and directed by his grand father N T Rama Rao. His next film was in 1997 in which he played the role of Lord Ram in the mythological film ‘Ramayana’. The film won the National Film award for Best Children’s film.

About Jr NTR’s Personal Life
The RRR actor married Lakshmi Pranathi, daughter of businessmen Narne Srinivasa Rao. Srinivasa Rao’s wife is a niece of N Chandrababu Naidu. Their wedding ceremony took place on 5th May 2011 in Hyderabad. He is also fondly known as ‘Tiger’ or ‘Man of the Masses’ in the Telugu cinema.
