New Delhi: Cinemas and multiplexes are now open after a months-long gap and people are flocking to halls and shopping malls for watching their favorite movies on the big screen. However, the OTT platforms have also carved a certain niche for themselves and still enjoy a huge audience.

Here is a peek into the 8 OTT series that will open to the public on OTT platforms in second week of September:

1) Into the Night Season 2 — on Netflix, Sept 8

The web series captures the trauma and ordeal of people stranded in a hijacked flight and how they race against time to save their lives. The series is based on a Belgian science-fiction novel, ‘The Old Axolotl’.

2) JJ+E — on Netflix, September 8

The web series is about a passionate love story between a young boy & young girl and the complexities that come along with it. The duo live in same city but their class barrier works as big stumbling block. Will they be able to break the barrier?

3) Mumbai Diaries: 26/11 — on Netflix, Sept 8

The thriller drama is yet another movie on audacious terror attack in Mumbai on 26/11. The web series captures not just the trauma and agony of pain but also what the doctors and reports went through during the terror attacks.

It’s a Telugu drama web series.

Hindi blockbuster ‘Andhadhun’ has been recreated in Tamil. The film stars Nithiin, Tamannaah and Nabha Natesh.
