New Delhi: Famed couple Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are all set to tie the knot in an intimate lavish affair on 24th September.
On Friday, the renowned actress and her Political leader finance arrived at their designated wedding destination in Udaipur with their respective families where they booked the elite Leela Palace and Taj Palace for hosting the guests of the anticipated wedlock.
The couple’s Big-fat Punjabi wedding ceremony is expected to witness 200 eminent figures from the film industry as well as Raghav’s political party AAP. Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab’s CM Bhagwaan Singh Mann and Parineeti’s sister Priyanka Chopra are some of the top figures that are expected to attend the couple’s grand wedding ceremony. However, Priyanka’s Husbad Nick Jonas is likely to miss the wedding amid his Jonas Brothers’ ongoing music concert tour.
Parineeti to be a Typical Punjabi Bride?
While it is known to everyone that Parineeti Chopra is bound to be Manish Malhotra Bride, reports also had it that just like her ring ceremony, the actress’s wedding will also be a white-themed event where she will sport a pearl white Indian dress.
However, as per the latest update shared by the sources with Bollywoodlife, Raghav’s bride is Planning to be a typical Punjabi Bride with traditional Chooda, Mehandi and Kaleers. Parineeti’s Chooda ceremony is slated to happen a day before her marriage on 23rd September and she is planning to continue wearing them for one year. As per the custom, Chooda is supposed to be on Bride’s hands prior to their marriage and she can continue wearing them for either 41 days, 6 months or for a whole year.
The same sources also revealed that the design of Parineeti’s Chooda and Kaleeras will be inspired by her love story with Raghav which began several years ago while the two were studying in London.
Parineeti-Raghav Pre-wedding festivities
Although the wedding vows between Raghav and Parineeti will be exchanged in Udaipur, a number of pre-wedding ceremonies of the couple already kick-started in Delhi on 19 September. The function began with Ardas as both the families remembered the Almighty and sought his blessings for the couple ahead of their big day. Later, the Marriage-bound families also engaged in a Sufi musical night which was also attended by Priyanka’s mom Madhu Chopra and her son (Parineeti’s cousion brother) Siddharth.
Following that, Parineeti’s man Raghav remembered his love story with the actress and labelled it as one of the most organic and magical experiences of his life. He also recalled meeting Pareeniti while visiting the sets of director Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila which features the actress alongside Punjabi Superstar Diljeet Dosanjh. The duo’s vibes instantly matched with each other and they soon began to spend more and more time with each other and eventually fell in love.

Parineeti and Raghav got engaged to each other in a white-themed ceremony that was held on 13th May 2023 in Delhi’s Kapurthala House.
Several Pictures from the engagement took the internet by Strom and went viral amongst the fans who are now waiting for the couple’s espousal with bated breaths.
