Pathaan Box Office Collection Day 22: Shah Rukh Khan’s starrer film inching towards Rs 1000 crore

The movie has made Rs 600 crore in India and Rs 363 crore elsewhere.

New Delhi: Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, is approaching the Rs 1000 crore mark at the worldwide box office. As per reports, the movie has now crossed Rs 963 crore globally.

Pathaan is the biggest-earning Bollywood film ever made according to Yash Raj Films, with Rs 963 crore at the international box office. The movie has made Rs 600 crore in India and Rs 363 crore elsewhere. Notably, the picture had suffered a decline in revenues on its third Monday, but perked up further on Valentine’s Day, recording a 35-40 percent spike in earnings.

Pathaan received an increase on Valentine’s Day in the regional economy, with greater numbers on Tuesday than on Monday. As per cinema critic and trade expert Taran Adarsh, the movie has surpassed the Rs 500 crore mark in all formats in India.

He tweeted, “#ValentinesDay [third Tuesday; Day 21] helps #Pathaan… As a result, [third] Tue has larger numbers than Mon… [Week 3] Fri 5.75 million, Sat 11 million, Sun 12.60 million, Mon 4.10 million, and Tue 5.40 million. Total: 481.35 crores. #Hindi. #Indian business.”

In another tweet, he said, “#Pathaan #Tamil + #Telugu [Week 3]: Friday 15 lacs, Saturday 25 lacs, Sunday 40 lacs, Monday 10 lacs, Tuesday 20 lacs. Total: ₹ 17.50 cr.  NOTE: #Pathaan #Hindi + #Tamil + #Telugu *combined* business: ₹ 498.85 cr.”

Pathaan marked Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after his terrible performance in Aanand L Rai’s Zero in 2018. The picture, which was released on January 25, broke multiple records in both the home and international markets. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan in the male lead, as well as Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in supporting roles.
