Rajesh Khanna is considered as one of  the biggest stars of all times.

Rajesh Khanna has given several blockbusters, but to remember one, its 1971 release Anand.

The actor won hearts with his performance of Anand. Amitabh Bachchan also featured in a key role.

According to reports, it is said that director Hrishikesh Mukherjee had legendary actor Raj Kapoor in his mind while writing the story.

However, the industry’s superstar couldn’t do the movie due to his professional commitments.

Interestingly, Anand was also Rajesh’s first collaboration with Amitabh Bachchan. While Big B’s performance in Anand was also gained appreciation. However, he went on to become as a superstar with his 1973 release Zanjeer.

Also, Amitabh and Rajesh Khanna collaborated for the last time in 1973 release Namak Haram.
