A video of veteran actor Arvind Trivedi watching the Sita haran scene on his television set is currently going viral on social media.The best part of this viral video is Arvind’s expressions as he watches his own performance.
In the video, the veteran actor, now 84 years old, gets all emotional while watching the particular episode. At one point, he even folds his hands together as if to ask for forgiveness for essaying the role.
As the show re-runs on Doordarshan after more than three decades, it has been welcomed with an overwhelming response by the audiences and is breaking all possible records by taking a top spot on TRP charts.
The series featured Arun Govil as Ram, Deepika Chikhalia as Sita and Sunil Lahri as Lakshman. Late Dara Singh potrayed Hanuman and Arvind Trivedi was featured as Ravana. The show was originally telecast from January 25, 1987 to July 31, 1988.
