Ranbir Kapoor reveals Alia Bhatt and he would have been married this year if COVID had not hit their lives

New Delhi: In a recent interview, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his wedding with Alia Bhatt and revealed that they would have been married if the “pandemic hadn’t hit our lives Ranbir also confessed that he feels like an ‘underachiever’ in front of his girlfriend Alia Bhatt.

Ranbir in the interview told how he spent his time in lockdown. He said that while he spent many hours watching television shows and movies during the lockdown, Alia took every class under the sun.

Talking with Rajeev Masand, he said “My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is — from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her. But no, I didn’t take any classes. Initially we were dealing with the family crisis, and then I got into reading, spent time with my family, and I watch two-three films every day.”

Ever since Alia and Ranbir have come out in open about their relationship, they have been under the wedding rador. The actors will also be sharing screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’.

The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in key roles. The fantasy drama will also have a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.
