New Delhi: Bollywood actor and Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone’s husband Ranveer Singh showers praises for Deepika’s Singham look. The actor took to Instagram and shared a post complimenting her calling her ‘Sherni’.
The Lady Singham Singham can be seen slaying in a Khaki uniform with a colorful background. Deepika is seen wearing shades and enacting the hand gesture like Ajay Devgn from ‘Singham -1’. Deepika will be seen in a prominent character in the film. Director Rohit Shetty once mentioned that Deepika will be playing one of the main characters in the film. He added “She is like one of the heroes, and what we are doing with it is that we will go with her story. We will make a film that has only Deepika. It is her story. Like Sooryavanshi, Singham, and Simmba, the films had already been made and people knew about them, but with Singham again, we are introducing these characters, and then we will tell their stories.”

The film also features Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn in the lead roles. The film’s announcement was made on Navaratri last year. While making the announcement, director Rohit Shetty said, “Naari sita ka bhi roop hai aur durga ka bhi… Meet the most brutal and violent officer in our cop universe… Shakti Shetty… My lady Singham… Deepika Padukone.”
Meanwhile Deepika and Ranveer are currently expecting their first child. Deepika shared the news of her pregnancy in the month of February this year. She will also be seen in her upcoming film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’starring Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Kamal Hassan and Disha Patani.

Ranveer files complaint for his viral deepfake video
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh also filed a Police complaint after his AI generated video promoting a political party went viral. An FIR has been lodged against the social media handle that was using the deepfake video.
The viral video is from Ranveer Singh’s Varanasi visit. The audio in the clip was AI empowered.
