New Delhi: TV actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Rashmi Desai became the victim of ‘cyber-bullying’as haters took to her Instagram account and posted abusive, derogatory and demeaning messages. The haters trolled her by calling her ‘buddhi, ‘ghatiya aunty’and more.
The actress initially chose to ignore but finally came out all guns glazing against them. She lashed out at the trolls for passing filthy messages on her posts.
Sharing the screenshots of those who posted hate messages, she replied to them saying, “This has been happening for a while now. Enough is enough. There’s a limit of trolling an individual.”
Hitting out at faceless trolls on Instagram stories, she wrote, “Are these the thoughts you have for your mother, sister, girlfriend, or any woman for that matter? This is what your partner or your surrounding teaches you? Or is it your own vulgar mind? Really sad to see that people like you know how to write but don’t know what to write and that’s when you guys lack education and you guys need it. I pity you, boys, with such filthy mind.”
She continued on further in the next story saying, “Seriously, these days negativity, hate is quite easy to choose but becoming a star isn’t that easy and when it comes to spreading love, people are finding that difficult. And on top of it, you’ll have kept your insta handle name as #LOVE and #Star. What a shame!”
Seeking action against the vitriolic trolls, she tagged the official Instagram handles of the prime minister Narendra Modi, Mumbai Police, Cybercrime Helpline, as well as Cyber Crime India.
Rashmi Desai, having born in Gujarati family, came to fame with popular television serial ‘Utran’. She started her career in the year 2006. Rashmi first played the role of Mandodari in the TV show ‘Ravana’. But, she got recognition from the television serial ‘Utran’ which started in 2009.
