New Delhi: Popular Kannada Radio Jockey, Rachana passed away on Tuesday noon after suffering an acute cardiac arrest. The RJ was 39 years of age. Reportedly, Rachana complained of chest pain at her flat in JP Nagar and was rushed to a nearby hospital and was declared brought dead.
RJ Rachana was a renowned radio jockey in Bengaluru and had a major fan following. Her anchoring skills along with her additional qualities like a sense of humour garnered well-wishes from a lot of her fans.
Besides, the actress appeared in the Kannada film Simple Agi Ondh Love Story, where she played the role of a Radio Jockey.
The sudden demise of the young RJ has left everyone in shock. Many from the Kannada TV industry mourned the death of RJ Rachana.
Taking to Instagram, Swetha Chengappa shared her deepest condolences over the shocking demise of RJ Rachana. “She was one of my favorite RJ. Very sensible, her command over language was too good. I have never met her in person before. Feeling disheartened to say that I will never get a chance to meet her in the future. Very very sad to know that she is no more.”
Rachana’s fellow RJ and Dancing star season 1 contestant RJ Pradeep was shocked on hearing the news of her demise. On his Instagram, he wrote, “May your soul rest in peace RJ Rachana. She was definitely one of the best Jock of Namma Bengaluru. Heart Attack at this young age. What’s happening.”

In recent years, RJ Rachana was away from her professional world. According to reports, she was a health-conscious girl and was physically fit. Her mortal remains will be reportedly taken to her parent’s residence in Chamrajpete, Bengaluru.
