‘Reserved’ for Bajrangbali: Adipurush makers to leave 1 seat in all cinema halls for Lord Hanuman

In an announcement made just a few days ahead of the movie’s release, team Adipurush has declared that one seat in every theatre shall be kept vacate/unsold as a symbolic gesture of respect to Lord Hanuman and the beliefs of Ram bhakts

New Delhi: Adipurush is hands down one of the biggest and most awaited movies of 2023.

With the fans eagerly waiting for its release on June 16th, the filmmakers are on a constant spree to ensure that the movie’s buzz remains intact.

As the Prabhas starrer Magnum Opus closes in on its release date with each passing day, its distributors are leaving no stone unturned to promote, popularize and maintain the hype of the movie.

Special Seat to be reserved for Lord Hanuman

Recently, the movie-makers of Adipurush made a unique statement regarding seat reservations for Lord Hanuman in theatres during the screening of the film.

In an announcement made just a few days ahead of the movie’s release, team Adipurush has declared that one seat in every theatre shall be kept vacate/unsold as a symbolic gesture of respect to Lord Hanuman and the beliefs of Ram bhakts.

The official statement read “Lord Hanuman appears wherever the Ramayana is recited. It is our belief. Respecting this belief, every theatre screening Prabhas’ Rama-starter Adipurush will reserve one seat for Lord Hanuman without selling it.

The makers further added that the audience will now hear the history of paying respects in the presence of lord Rama’s biggest devotee Shri Hanuman.

Ahead of the movie’s much-awaited grand promotional affair in Tirupati, Prabhas and the team also paid a visit to the holy Tirumala temple where they offered their prayers and sought blessings from Lord Tirupati for the success of the movie.

Made with a mammoth budget of Rs 500 crore, Adipurush is written and directed by Om Raut and features Prabhas, Kirti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in the leading roles.

The movie is based on the evergreen Hindu epic Ramayana and has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. It is now all set to get a grand release across the globe 16th of June.
