Given that Kantara 2 is a prequel, viewers can undoubtedly anticipate learning more about Bhoota Kola and other customs, rites, and enigmatic components of folklore.

The tale Kantara, which means “mystical forest,” relates the tale of a local demigod named Bhoota who, in 1870, bargains with a king to give the tribe’s members forest land in return for bliss. Years later, the king’s son is killed by Bhoota after becoming envious and demanding the nation back.

The Bhoota Kola festival, one of Kantara’s main attractions, was masterfully reenacted in the movie, which was inspired by Panjurli Daiva’s divinity.
