New Delhi: Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan is flying high after the success of his films ‘ Dunki’ ‘ Pathaan’ and ‘ Jawaan’. The actor recently requested film maker Mani Ratnam to cast him in his film. The actor and the director came across each other during a recent event, where the actor Shahrukh Khan expressed his desire to work in his film. He said, “It’s all come out in the open now. I’m requesting you, I’m begging you and I’m telling you every time to do a film with me. I swear, this time, I’ll dance on top of the plane for Chaiyya Chaiyya if you tell me,”
The duo worked together in 1998 for the film ‘ Dil se’ which became a super hit. The film’s song ‘Chaiya Chaiya’ was a super hit and was loved by the audience. The dance performance of Malaika Arora on the roof top of the train received amazing response from the viewers.
Mani Ratnam: I will cast you when you buy a plane
Responding to the actor, the director was quick to respond, he said i will cast you in my film once you buy a plane. To this the actor immediately replied, “Mani, let me just tell you, the way my films are doing…this plane is not far way,” The director then answered i will bring it down to earth, don’t worry.
SRK: I am the Indian for all ages
The actor won the hearts of many when he recently received the Indian of the year award, to this he replied, I don’t feel Indian of the year, I feel i am the Indian for all ages.
