New Delhi: The golden couple Big B( Amitabh Bachchan) and Jaya Bachchan completed 50 years of their marriage. On the special occasion, their daughter Shweta Bachchan and granddaughter Navya penned a sweet note for the couple. Taking to her Instagram, Shweta shared a throwback picture of her parents where they were seen looking at each other with love.

In the throwback picture, Jaya is seen wearing a saree while Amitabh is seen wearing a printed shirt. It is one of the pictures from the set of their film. Sharing the photo Shweta wished Happy 50th parents. Further adding to this she said, now they are golden and on asking her mother about the secret of her long marriage, Jaya replied love. Shweta also said she believes her father was a person who says- Wife is always right.
Many celebrities reacted to the post including Zoya Akhtar, Mahdeep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, and Chunkey Pandey. In replying to Shweta’s post Zoya wrote- Thank you for sending me this picture, Mandeep wrote Happy 50th to your parent while Chunkey Pandey and Bhavana Pandey both wished 50th anniversary to the couple.
Shweta’s daughter and granddaughter of the couple also shared a candid photo of them from the sets of ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’. She wrote 50 years along with a red heart emoji. She also added the song Teri Bindya from the movie Abhimaan as the background music. On Friday night Amitabh in his own style wrote a brief note, thanking everyone for their wishes with a folded hand emoticon. Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in the movie Project K starring Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. While Jaya will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani directed by Karan Johar.
