New Delhi: Shweta Tiwari, a prominent face of Indian television has caught herself in a controversial statement she made during a press conference in Bhopal. She is currently busy promoting her upcoming web series, ‘Show Stopper’, and on Wednesday was doing the same in Bhopal when she stated, “Mere bra ki size Bhagwan le rahe hai (God is measuring my bra).”
Reportedly, the actress referred to Sourabh Raaj Jain, who is famous for playing the role of Lord Krishna in the TV serial Mahabharata. However, in ‘Show Stopper,’ Sourabh plays the role of bra-fitter. Although Shweta jokingly commented about the matter, it did not go well with many.
Like a wildfire, the statement has gone viral all over the internet and many were taken aback by it.

Following this, Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra has asked the police to investigate her remark and submit a report on the same within 24 hours.
While speaking to the media, Mishra told, “I have seen and heard Shweta Tiwari’s statement. I have instructed the Bhopal Police Commissioner to investigate and submit a report to me soon.”
Narottam Mishra also informed that after a report will be submitted by the police, actions will be taken against her. Further, Mishra stated that an investigation will be carried out to understand based on what the statement was made. What was her intention behind it?

In terms of work, Shweta will be appearing in the new style in the upcoming web series ‘Show Stopper’ which is based on the fashion industry. Apart from her, the series features Sourabh Raaj Jain and Rohit Roy and have been shot in different locations in Bhopal, reports reveal. Besides, she was last seen on Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and was among the top five contestants of the show.
