New Delhi: Indian playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan had to stop her live concert midway when the singer was hit by a water bottle in Dehradun. The moment Sunidhi was hit with the bottle, she looked stunned and stopped midway. The bottle hit her arm and she looked visibly surprised. She took a pause and then politely said, Ye kya ho raha hai? Bottle phenkne se kya hoga? Show ruk jayega. Do you want that?” Sunidhi then continued singing and the crowd was seen cheering listening to her.

Sunidhi was also trolled by many for wearing a silver outfit during the concert. There was a section of group of people who were slamming her for trying to copy Taylor Swift, they wrote Duplicate Taylor 🙌Madam ji apne Ap ko Taylor Swift samajh rahe hai 😂😂😂, while there were many who clearly condemned the act and said “Throwing a water bottle at an artist is unacceptable behavior. It undermines the artist’s hard work and talent. Do appreciate their work, and treat them with Respect.”

The iconic singer didn’t lose her calm and continued singing. It is however difficult to maintain focus once you get distracted during a live performance.

This is not the first time when artists performing during live concerts were attacked by the audience. Singer Kailash Kher was also attacked by bottles during one of his live concerts. Legendary actor Sonu Nigam also faced disrespect and humiliation when of his fans tried to take a selfie during his live concert in Mumbai. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff were also hurled by stones during one of the promotional events for their film ‘Bade Miya Chote Miyan’.
