New Delhi: On her ongoing Eras tour, Taylor Swift recently performed a song (This is why we can’t have nice things) that is popularly believed to be about forgiving Kanye West.
During the live performance of the song, the 33-year-old singer ended up doing something that made her go viral all over the internet.
While singing in front of a Seattle crowd in Lumen Field, the super popular American songwriter smiled and paused singing after completing the lyric “Here’s to you coz forgiveness is a nice thing to do” before getting into a burst of loud devilish laughter which made the audience cheer and applaud.
After laughing wholeheartedly for about half a minute, Taylor recollected herself and said ” I can’t even say it with a straight face before continuing with the rest of the song.

Interestingly, even in the studio version of the Reputation (2017) album’s song, Taylor Swift can be heard laughing right before saying “I can’t even say it with a straight face. ”
Taylor’s infamous encounter with Kenye at VMA
Taylor’s decade-long brawl with Kanye West goes all the way back to 2009 When Kanye West ruined the singer’s VMA moment by cutting off her acceptance speech that she was giving after winning the best video by a female artist award from MTV Music. After successfully destroying Tyler’s emotional moment, Kayne even yelled at the crowd saying “Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time.”
The drama didn’t just end there as later in 2016, West once again tried to provoke Tylor with his controversial song “Famous” in which he referred to her as “BI-ch.”
Later, the “Heartless” singer alleged that Tylor herself gave him permission to call her Bi-ch in his track. However, Taylor rubbished his claims soon by making it clear that she never gave any permission to him.
Feuling the fire, West’s then-wife Kim Kardashian too jumped into the controversy by openly calling Tylor a Snake. She even dropped a video of her in which she is heard validating the lyrics of Keyne’s controversial song.
Taylor’s Eras to gross 1 billion?
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift continues with her dream run in the concert market by recording monstrous sales records for her Eras tour. By charging over ₹ 21,000 ($256) per ticket, the “gorgeous” singer has already minted over ₹2400 crore ($300 million) from the first 22 fixtures of her ambitious tour. As per some estimates, this amount is likely to ascend further and touch the dreamy amount of 1 billion USD mark by the end of her tour.
