New Delhi: The highly anticipated film Tejas, starring Kangana Ranaut, was finally released in theaters on Friday, October 27th. Generating immense buzz and anticipation, this film had been eagerly awaited by fans and moviegoers alike. However, on its opening day, Tejas experienced a relatively slow start, managing to collect Rs 1.25 crore at the box office. Although the film’s initial collection may seem modest, it is expected that Tejas will witness an upward trajectory in the coming days, as word-of-mouth spreads and more audiences get a chance to watch the movie.

Tejas BO Collection

The first day of box office collection for the highly anticipated aerial action film, Tejas, featuring Kangana Ranaut, resulted in a lukewarm response. Early estimates provided by Sacnilk.com reveal that the film amassed ₹1.25 crore on its opening day. Additionally, the portal reports that the film witnessed a mere 6.83 percent occupancy on Friday.

On its first day, Tejas managed to secure around Rs 85 lakh in business, with the three prominent national chains of PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis being key contributors, accounting for 60 percent of the total collection, as per the report by Bollywood Hungama. However, it is worth noting that the overall Hindi occupancy for the film stood at a mere 6.83 percent, which is indeed a cause for concern. Given the underwhelming opening, it becomes crucial for Tejas to gather momentum during the weekend in order to sustain its box office performance. The film will need to substantially improve its numbers if it aims to maintain its presence and success in the cinema industry.
