New Delhi: Telugu TV serial and film actress Sravani Kondapalli was found hanging in her flat in Madhuranagar, Hyderabad, on Tuesday (September 8) night. The body was later shifted to Osmania hospital for postmortem.
Sravani had acted in various serials like ‘Manasu Mamata’ and ‘Mounaragam’. According to the reports in the local media, her family alleged that she was being harassed by a man named Devraj Reddy, hailing from Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, whom she had met on TikTok.
The SR Nagar police has registered a case on the same and have begun the investigation. Reportedly, she was close friends with Devraj with whom she got acquainted on TikTok. The police officers are investigating Devraj.
Sravani’s co-star Priyanka M Jain took to Instagram to share a photo with her and paid her condolences. She wrote, “This wasn’t the way to go. My heart cries as I write this. Never thought that I would post it like this. Rest in peace love. I just so wish you come and hug me the way you used to. Gonna miss you forever (sic).”
