New Delhi: The Indian adaptation of the popular dating reality show Temptation Island has been making headlines ever since it started streaming on Jio Cinema on 3 November 2023.
Jointly hosted by renowned television actors Mauni Roy and Karan Kundra, the reality show highlighted the tussle in the relationship between several couples, including Chestasta Bhagat and Arjun Aneja who made some serious allegations against each other.
Did Arjun Physically assault Chesta?
In one of the show’s episodes, Arjun claimed that he was slapped in the face by Chestha Bhagat many times after the latter learned about his feelings for another girl. On the other hand, Chesta alleged that it was she who faced physical assault at the hands of Arjun following the development of her connection with Nikhil Mehra.

Mauni Roy on Physical abuse
Admits this, the ‘Queen of Hearts’ Mauni Roy shared some wise words and took a firm stand against any physical abuse between the couples on the show. Speaking about the issue, the actress asserted that resorting to violence never does any good to a relationship.
She said “We all make mistakes but assaulting each other physically is extremely wrong, irrespective of the gender. Every action has a reaction that sometimes prevails over the initial action.
Mauni then confronted Cheshta and advised her to talk things out with her partner rather than confront him physically. She said, “Even if you are right initially the moment you resort to physical violence can portray you as the wrongdoer.”
Digging further into the hardships faced by the island participants, Mauni said, “On this island, I am pretty sure that expressing your concerns about your 12-year-long relationship is very difficult! This is probably the most challenging situation any human can go through.”
“Respect ka daaira chala jata hai to relationship nahi tikta! (If the circle of respect is breached, the relationship won’t sustain!) It’s a sensitive topic, and we should deal with it sensibly!”, she continued further.
Karan Kundra’s girlfriend in Temptation Island India
Meanwhile, Karan Kundra’s girlfriend Tejasswi Prakash made her surprise appearance in one of the previous episodes of the reality show, reflecting intimate details about her relationship with Karan.
