New Delhi: Adah Sharma starrer drama film The Kerala Story was a dreamy affair at the Box Office last year. Even after releasing in the midst of massive public outrage & numerous controversies, the movie emerged as a super-hit flicker, amassing over Rs 303 crore by the conclusion of its theatrical run.
However, despite The Kerala Story’s massive commercial success on the ticket windows, its makers failed to crack any successful deal with any digital platform for the movie’s OTT release several times. This left the fans waiting eagerly for the Sudipto Sen directorial’s arrival on their digital screens for a long time & the same further spiked up the flick’s anticipation amongst the audiences with each passing day.
Now, after almost 9 months from The Kerela Story’s cinematical release, the filmmakers have finally put an end to the fans’ wait by announcing that the film is finally going to premiere on the digital platform Zee5 this month. Here’s when and where you can enjoy the movie.
The Kerala Story OTT Release Date & Platform
Renowned actress Adah Sharma, who played the character of the film’s lead female protagonist in The Kerela Story, herself treated the fans by dropping the news of the film’s digital debut. She officially disclosed that The Kerela Story will be streaming on Zee5 from 16th February 2024 onward.
Taking to her Instagram, the 31-year-old shared an intriguing moving poster of the film & wrote, “FINALLY !!!!! SURPRISE !! The most anticipated film is dropping soon on ZEE5! #TheKeralaStory premieres on 16th February, only on #ZEE5.”

The Kerela Story Plot & Cast
Helmed by skilled directed Sudipto Sen & written by Suryapal Sing, The Kerala story claims to be inspired by real-life events. The story of the movie circles the lives of the ill-fated young women from the south Indian state of Kerela who are brainwashed into converting their religion & joining forces with the extremist terrorist organization ISIS.
In its seasoned cast, The controversial movie sees Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani playing the lead characters. It was released on the big screens under the banner of Sunshine Pictures on May 5, 2023.
