Vaazhai OTT release date: According to the latest reports, Mari Selvaraj’s Tamil movie Vaazahi will soon land on a streaming platform.
If sources are to be believed, the heartwarming rural drama, starring Ponvel M. and Raghul R., in its main cast, will become available for watching online on Disney + Hotstar on or around September 27, 2024. However, an official announcement about the same is still pending and is expected to be made by the makers in the coming days.

Helmed by the maker of the runaway hit Premalu, Vaazahi graced the big screens in August 2024 & emerged as a monumental hit at the Box Office.
Made on a small budget of Rs 5 crore, the film, by the end of its theatrical run, managed to rake in a colossal sum of Rs 35.8 crores (Approx) from the ticket windows, making it to the list of most profitable Tamil movies of 2024.
Meanwhile, with the Raghul starrer now all geared up to release on digital screens, it will be interesting to see how it fares with the OTTians in the coming days.

Vaazhai is the emotional & heart-wrenching tale of Sivandhan, a child whose childhood has been snatched away from him as he belongs to an oppressed community.
Set in the village of Kurugulam, the movie, allegedly inspired by a real-life event, shows how Sivandham, accompanied by his sister and mother, works hard as a laborer in banana fields while also attending his school at the same time.
The film focuses on the challenges faced by the young boy and his family in their daily life while also portraying how rigorous hard work in the fields adversely affects their mental & physical health.
