New Delhi: The much-awaited trailer of Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Vikram Vedha’ was dropped on September 8 as promised. The trailer shows a battle between good and evil, exploring the grey side of it. The fans were eagerly waiting for the trailer release and got a pack of action and thrill in return.
The trailer shows swords and hammers dipped in blood and guns making noise as Vedha narrates his tricky stories. The epic face-off between Vikram, played by Saif, and Vedha, played by Hrithik, will be something to watch out for. The voiceover is done by actor Vijay Raaz and the trailer says, “It’s all grey.” In the end, Vikram asks Vedha about his game and he answers that it is Vikram’s job to find it out.
The film is based on the popular tale of Vikram-Vetal, wherein, Vikram, the king, tried to catch Vetal but Vetal narrated a story and asked Vikram some questions to confuse him and escape. Similarly in the film, Vedha narrates his story and leaves Vikram in confusion to choose between good and evil where everything looks grey. It is the Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil film that starred Vijay Sethupati and R Madhavan in the lead. The film is directed by Gayathri and Pushkar, who also directed the original version of it.
The film also stars Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, Sharib Hashmi and Satyadeep Misra. ‘Vikram Vedha’ is presented under the banners of T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and Jio Studios and a YNOT Studios Production. The film will hit cinemas globally on September 30.
