New Delhi: ‘Laapataa Ladies’, the film which gained massive success at the box office and is receiving all the love and praised for its incredible storyline and the performance of the actors. Many audience wanted to know about the two main leading ladies in the film.
The film revolves around the lives of these two small town brides who accidentally lands up with a wrong husband after the wedding. The character of the village girl ‘Jaya’ is played by Pratibha Rantta who lands up in the hometown of Dipak as he fails to recognize his real wife and brings Jaya to his house. He then began searching for his real wife ‘Phool Kumari’.

Who is Pratibha Rantta?
Pratibha played the role of Jaya in ‘Laapataa Ladies’. Born on 17th December 2000, Pratibha hails from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Her performance in the film is highly appreciated by the audience. She completed her schooling from Jesus and Mary Convent in Shimla and she later moved to Mumbai. She completed her graduation in Film-Making from the Usha Parvin Gandhi college of Management. She played in a television show in 2020. The show was ‘Qurbaan Hua’ in Zee TV. Pratibha later got the opportunity to play in Kiran Rao’s film and manage to leave an impact on the audience.
