The highly-anticipated second season of a thriller series coming straight out of the Hindi heartland is all set arrive on digital space

New Delhi: Releasing a whole bunch of new content on a single date on various over-the-top platforms is steadily becoming a trend in the digital world.

Earlier, we’d brought to you a big chunk of fresh OTT contents, all premiering on a single date i.e. March 11 on Friday.

In the same row, plenty of upcoming movies, web series, shows are in the pipeline to arrive on multiple digital platforms in the third week of the month, on March 18.

The upcoming content covers a wide range of genres, making it convenient for you to pick your watchlist this weekend.

1. Apaharan (Season 2)

Platform: Voot, ALT Balaji

The highly-anticipated second season of a thriller series coming straight out of the Hindi heartland is all set arrive on digital space with its official tagline, “Sabka Katega Dobara”. Backed by filmmaker Ekta Kapoor and Jio Studios, Apharan 2 assures ‘dugna action, entertainment and double dhamaka‘.

2. Bloody Brothers

Platform: Zee5

A Hindi adaptation of the Scottish mystery thriller, Guilt, the plot of the series revolves around a deadly murder, police investigation and a dark world of crime. The thriller is graced by Jaideep Ahlawat, Zeeshan Ayyub, Tina Desai, Satish Kaushik, Maya Alagh, Mugdha Godse, and Shruti Seth among others.

3. Jalsa

Platform: Amazon Prime

The crime drama revolves around the killing of a young girl and the digital news media investigating the murder. Renowned actors Shefali Shah and Vidya Balan will be seen playing the roles of victim’s mother and a journalist respectively in the upcoming film. Helmed by Suresh Triveni, Jalsa will be out on Prime on March 18.

4. Deep Water

Platform: Amazon Prime

The upcoming psychological thriller ‘Deep Water’ stars Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas in the lead roles. The ongoing chemistry of a separately married couple is based on a novel written by Patricia Highsmith, co-written by Zach Helm and ‘Euphoria’ creator Sam Levinson.
