New Delhi: Woh Bhi Din The, formerly known as Banana, is Sajid Ali’s first directorial effort. He is well-known for his roles as Cocktail’s assistant director and Laila Majnu’s director.
There have been rumours circulating for over a decade that the ZEE5 release Woh Bhi Din The will finally premiere tonight. Imtiaz Ali, John Abraham, and Shoojit Sircar all work together intriguingly in this picture.
Plot
John plays the role of famous photojournalist Rahul Sinha, who goes on a journey to his high school to remember his carefree days there and the first time he fell in love while speaking as a guest speaker.
When and Where to Watch?
Beginning on March 29, 2024, the movie is going to have its world debut on Zee5. The film was shot in 2013, and it combines elements of romance, humour, and drama.

Woh Bhi Din The, starring Rohit Saraf and Adarsh Gourav, has a trailer that has been released by the streaming portal. John Abraham, Shoojit Sircar, and Imtiaz Ali are among the film’s star-studded cast members. The remaining members of Woh Bhi Din The ensemble cast include Sanjana Sanghi, Charu Bedi, and Zeishan Quadri.
Shoojit Sircar, Ronnie Lahiri, John Abraham, and Sheel Kumar are the producers of the picture, which is being released by JA Entertainment, Rising Sun Films, and Kino Works.
Most of the performers are making their feature film debuts, and it was also Sajid Ali’s first picture as a director. Production crew members such as cinematographer Jay I. Patel are all making their film debuts in that capacity.

Adarsh Gourav had previously stated that in 2013, a few artists from Mumbai and Delhi were chosen to accompany them to Jamshedpur for their first feature film shoot. Banana was the working title for the picture till it was renamed Woh Bhi Din The. Receiving the news that he had been cast in a film with many classmates from his alma school, Loyola School, shocked him.
