The youth is compelled to move out of the state to get pity jobs, leaving their parents behind in an unimaginable pain of separation

New Delhi: Bihar’s senior IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav has often kept making headlines for one or the other reason. Be it for his acts of bravery or his dedication & passion for bringing a positive change in the state, the 2003 batch IPS officer has remained a talking point amongst the masses for a long time.

Recently, Vaibhav launched a social campaign ‘Let’s Inspire Bihar’ which has been already joined by over 75,00 folks. Besides this, He has also been actively working towards the fulfillment of PM Modi’s groundbreaking initiative “Vikasit Bharat 2047”

In an exclusive conversation with Newsroompost, he talked about several aspects of his life including his fearless image as an IPS officer, his ‘#Let’sinspireBihar’ campaign, his commitment to the development of Bihar, and much more.

Ques 1: Despite actively participating in multiple rallies and public meetings to bring a change in Bihar, how are you managing to balance your work life?

Ans: When something matters to you a lot you manage to make time for it. Every citizen of Bihar wishes to see the development of the state. It’s heartwrenching to see the situation of unemployment here. The youth is compelled to move out of the state to get pity jobs, leaving their parents behind with the unimaginable pain of separation.

There was a time when people from across the globe used to come to ancient Bihar for education. But now, when I see the youth of the same Bihar helplessly seeking jobs here and there, I feel that I must do something about it. We all need a change.

Ques 2: People know you as a fearless IPS officer, as you played an important role in the arrest of Anant Singh and many others. What was your experience during all this, and how easy or tough this has been for you?

Ans: Whenever I am pitted against big influential people, my heart tells me that I am made to bring a change and this is exactly the moment when I need to do something.

My inner self says that if I bow down today, the purpose of my life will get defeated. This is where divine energy gets inside me and provides me with the courage to face the toughest challenges & adverse situations with the utmost bravery.

Ques 3: You are leading the movement of #LetsInspireBihar, with a vision of developing Bihar by 2047. What were your thoughts at the time of starting this campaign and how exactly does it work?

Ans: #Let’sinspireBihar is our vision that aims to bring a positive change in Bihar by achieving the mantras of Shiksha (education) Chhamta (capabilities) and Uddhista (intent).

It was because of this lack of vision that Bihar remained deprived of basic facilities for a long time. However, we believe that if we make honest efforts, nothing can stop us from being successful.

Ques 4: Is your campaign inspired by PM Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047?

Ans: Our country is progressing rapidly and every person in Bihar should take inspiration from the same. Bihar’s development is crucial for the nation’s growth.

Today, people hailing from all castes, creeds, classes, and religions need to step up for India’s betterment. I am making my contributions towards the same.
