New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani has given important orders for recruitment in the state government on immediate basis in a high level meeting of senior officers of the state government, GPSC, Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal, Panchayat Seva Pasandgi Mandal, Police-General Administration Department-Education Department.
The Chief Minister has clearly stated that the recruitment process should be started expeditiously so that the youth of the state get opportunities to join the service of the state government.
For this purpose, the Chief Minister has also given instructions to start the recruitment process in various departments of the state government on an immediate basis. Not only that, the Chief Minister has clearly asked the GPSC, Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal, Panchayat Seva Pasandgi Mandal, Home Department and General Administration Department to proceed with the recruitment round on an immediate basis.
The recruitment process was completed as per the decisions taken by the Chief Minister in the high level meeting held in this regard but the complete process of the vacancies where the results were yet to be declared will be completed in the next three to five months.
He directed the state government to immediately complete the remaining procedures for the 8,000 vacancies which were announced earlier by various recruitment authorities and to issue appointment letters immediately.
Focus on youths in generating new workforce
Chief Minister has paved the way for the youths of the state by taking the decision to provide timely and comprehensive employment opportunities in government jobs. Mr. Rupani urged to start the recruitment process for 9650 vacancies in various departments of the state government which have been advertised but exams were not conducted due to covid-19 pandemic.
As a result of these youth employment oriented decisions of Mr.Rupani, more than 20,000 youths of the state will get job opportunities in government service in the next five months.
Mr. Rupani has taken these important decisions with aim of giving a wide range of opportunities to the youth of the state in government jobs. Gujarat has come out as a leading state in the nation, Gujarat has also ranked top in providing employment. Lakhs of youths have been deprived of government jobs for years due to restrictions on recruitment of government jobs during the Congress rule in the past. As a result of transparent, sensitive and easy recruitment process under the visionary leadership of Mr.Rupani, one and a half lakh youth have got job opportunities in the state government in the last four years.The state government has for the first time prepared a 10-year recruitment calendar to ensure timely recruitment.
In past it took a long time to take GPSC exams and announce their results and youths were deprived of job opportunities but now through GPSC calendar all recruitment process will be carried out in short span of one year.
Chief Minister has now made this recruitment process more robust and result oriented as well as timely and has given excellent opportunities to the youth of the state for career building.
