All groceries, vegetable shops to open from 7am to 11am, home delivery till 8pm: Maha govt

New Delhi: Maharashtra Govt on Tuesday said that all groceries, vegetable shops, fruit vendors, dairies, bakeries, confectionaries, all type of food shops, shops related to farm produce, pet food shops, shops related to materials for impending rainy season for individuals/orgs to be open only b/w 7 to 11 AM.

The order further said that home delivery from the said shops however may be allowed between 7 AM to 8 PM. These timings however may be changed by the local authority.

Maharashtra: Lockdown announced in Beed district from March 26 to April 4

The guidelines issued by the State Chief Secretary Sitaram Kunte are as follows:

1. All Groceries, Vegetables Shops, fruit vendors, dairies, bakeries, confectionaries, all type of food shops (including chicken, mutton, poultry, fish and eggs), shops related to agricultural implements and farm produce, pet food shops, shops related to materials for impending rainy season for individuals as well as for organisations to be open only between 7 am to 11 am.

2. Home delivery from the said shops however may be allowed between 7 am to 8 pm. These timings however may be changed by the local authority.

3. The local Disaster Management Authorities can include any additional entities/ services as essential under Section (2) of the order dated 13th April 2021 only after the consent of the State Disaster Management Authority.

4. All other conditions other than the ones specified in this order will be in accordance with the Government Order dated 13th April 2021 and additions/ clarifications already issued thereof by the State Government.
