New Delhi: Popular face of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and actress Sonali Phogat’s untimely death shocked her fans on Monday. The 41-year-old was admitted to a private hospital in Goa after she reportedly complained to her staff regarding chest pain and uneasiness.
She was declared dead on Monday night, and a postmortem has been conducted by the local administration. Phogat was on a 2-day visit to goa for a scheduled shoot of her upcoming project.
Amid her unfortunate demise, an old video of the Indian politician has surfaced online wherein she can be seen beating up a government official with a chappal (sleeper).
In the viral video, Sonali can be seen heckling an official and repeatedly hitting him with her footwear while he tries to defend himself. Surprisingly, a cop can also be seen in the clip among others, proving that the incident happened in the presence of police.
The victim in the video was been identified as a senior officer of the Haryana Kisan Mandi Committee.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala had first shared the video with caption, “Bad deeds of the leaders of the Khattar government! The BJP leader of Adampur, Hisar is beating the market committee secretary like an animal. Is it a crime to have a government job now?”
“Will Khattar Saheb take action? Will the media still remain silent”, he tweeted in Hindi.
