‘Ayodhya ki Katha’: Pahlaj Nihalani discusses movie on Ayodhya with CM Yogi Adityanath

Pahlaj Nihalani and UP CM Yogi Adityanath discussed the film ‘Ayodhya ki Katha’ based on Lord Ram and also about Film City.

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met director/producer Pahlaj Nihalani and dialogue writer Sanjay Masoom on Wednesday to discuss the Film City project.

Along with the Film City, they also discussed the production of a film based on Ayodhya.

Nihalani said that the new Film City will give local artists a chance to work and a platform for their talent. It will also help in promoting tourism.

Earlier, UP CM Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with some leading filmmakers of the country over the matter.

In the meeting, Adityanath pitched for his idea, and why UP would be the ideal location for a film city.

Highlighting the location of the film city, he further said, “The new film city will be near the historic city of Hastinapur as the land identified is close to the city. Hastinapur has tremendous contribution in the history of our country. Film city will be between the holy rivers of Ganga and Yamuna.”
