CBI issues notice to former J&K governor Satya Pal Malik for questioning

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday issued a notice to Satya Pal Malik, the former governor of Jammu & Kashmir, for questioning in a case.

Reacting to the development, Satyapal Malik told a news agency that the CBI has asked for his presence at its Akbar Road guesthouse and is seeking ‘some clarification’ in the insurance scam.

“The CBI wants certain clarifications in connection with the case reported by me,” Satyapal Malik said.

“They want certain clarifications. I am going to Rajasthan, so I have given them dates from April 27 to 29 when I am available,” Malik told the agency.
