New Delhi: A day after Maoists carried out an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Dantewada, leading to killing of 10 District Reserve Guard (DRG) & 1 driver , a purported video of the ‘moment after attack’ surfaced on social media.
The video shows the moment just after Maoists blowing up the DRG vehicle using the IED. Maoists had hatched the deadly plot and planted IED on the returning route of DRG personnels.
The footage shows the aftermath of explosion. In the video, a voice can be heard saying, “ud gaya, pura ud gaya.”
A cop is also seen crawling near the location and returning fire to red ultras who apparently carried out IED explosion.

After the deadly explosion, teams of paramilitary troops launched a major operation, along with local police to track down the ultras, who were behind this explosion.
The Naxal attack, which rocked Dantewada, after a long spell of peace, drew strong reactions from all sections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah condemned the cowardly attack on DRG force and assured the Chief Minister of all possible help in containing the red terror.
Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel is likely to visit the attack site in Dantewada to get first hand assessment of security & also the ground situation.
Maoists hatched the deadly plot and planted IED on the returning route of DRG personnel. These jawans had gone to Aaranpur area after receiving inputs about Maoists presence in the region. While they were returning after combing operation, the ultras planted powerful IEDs on the route. As the DRG vehicle crossed past, a powerful explosion blew away the vehicle & killed the 10 personnel.
