New Delhi: Setting an example of good governance, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stopped his convoy on Thursday to extend helping hand to 2 teenage youths who got injured in a scooter accident.

The Chief Minister reached out to them, took stock of their injury and also instructed officials to provide first-aid to the injured youths.

The incident happened when the Chief Minister was going to State Secretariat from Dehradun’s Himalyan Geology Centre. While the CM’s convoy was passing through the ONGC chowk, he spotted two young boys falling off their scooter.

The Chief Minister instructed his staff to stop the convoy and himself came out of the car to take first-hand account of their injury & well-being. He instructed the officials to provide immediate treatment & medical assistance to injured youth.

As the Chief Minister came on the streets, a large number of locals & onlookers gathered at the spot.

Though a small move, the gesture is enough to send across the message that attending to common public remains among top priorities of state govt.
