CM Rupani inaugurates projects in Rajkot worth Rs 1,000 crore, dedicates 4,216 houses to beneficiaries

Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani dedicated 4,216 houses to beneficiaries constructed by Rajkot Municipal Corporation and RUDA through video link from Gandhinagar with just a single click.

New Delhi: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects of Rajkot Municipal Corporation worth over Rs 1,000 crore through E-khatmuhurat and E-Lolarpan from Gandhinagar.

The Chief Minister dedicated 4,216 houses to beneficiaries constructed by Rajkot Municipal Corporation and RUDA through video link from Gandhinagar with just a single click.

On this occasion Chief Minister said that even in the time of Corona epidemic, Gujarat has maintained its distinctive identity of development and has continued its development journey uninterruptedly – Gujarat has moved forward with the slogan of ‘Na Rukna Hai, Na Zukna Hai. He also said that with a positive attitude, the state government has taken more than 1500 public interest and various developmental decisions in 1400 days and has maintained the momentum to take the progress of the state to new heights.

Congratulating the people of Rajkot as Rajkot was ranked among the top 10 cities in the country in the sanitation survey. He also appreciated Rajkot Municipal Corporation for constantly working to make Rajkot ‘lovable’ and ‘livable’.

The Chief Minister dedicated 4216 houses and 103 shops electronically through draw. Along with this, The Chief Minister laid foundation stone of Solar power project worth Rs. 1.08 crore, Road development works, renovation of Tulsidas Primary School and fire station at Nirmala Road.

Considering the increasing number of cases of corona infection in Rajkot, the Chief Minister said that Health Secretary Dr.Jayanti Ravi and a team of special doctors from Ahmedabad would be in Rajkot from today to provide necessary medical guidance.

Apart from this, as per the instructions of the state government, Dhanwantari Rath as well as the team of the health department have instructed the concerned department to expedite various operations including contact tracing to prevent the transmission, CM added. He also said that Rajkot has adequate bed facilities for the treatment of corona patients and 150 more beds are also expected to be available next week.
