New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday extended greetings to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on being chosen as most popular leader on the planet.
Morning Consult, a US-based research firm recently concluded in its research that PM Modi draw huge admiration from public in handling the Covid-19 pandemic and with 55 approval ratings, he stood ahead of all the global leaders in terms of popularity.
The closest rival to PM Modi in terms of approval ratings was Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador followed by Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison but with just 29 and 27 approval ratings.
Owing to this feat, UP CM Yogi Adityanath on behalf of people of the state, has congratulated PM Modi and said it is a matter of pride for all the countrymen.
He said that the prestigious institution Morning Consult in its net approval survey has found PM Modi as the most popular leader in the world. “This, indeed, is a proud moment for all of us,” he said.
CM Yogi said that PM Modi rendered relentless service to 135 crore population of the country during the last 6 years and ensured their well-being in most selfless manner.
“It was his towering leadership and efficiency that the country could successfully control Corona epidemic. Even the World Health Organisation (WHO) was compelled to praise India for this endeavour,” he pointed out.
