CM Yogi seeks report from Home Dept in misbehavior with Noida woman case

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sought a report from the Home Department in a case that took place in a high-end society in Noida recently in which a woman was pushed and misbehaved with.

New Delhi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sought a report from the Home Department in a case that took place in a high-end society in Noida recently in which a woman was pushed and misbehaved with.

CM Yogi has directed a detailed investigation into the case as well as stern action against the accused, who is currently at large, along with guilty policemen and officers, asserting that crime against women will not be tolerated by the Government at any rate.

Meanwhile, the inspector-in-charge, one sub-inspector and four constables have been suspended in the case and investigation of others is underway.

CM Yogi has repeatedly issued instructions in the past, directing officers to take strict action in crimes related to women. To make women aware, the government is also running Mission Shakti campaign in the state.

As soon as the video went viral on social media in Noida case, the police started immediate action and registered a case against the accused and formed teams for arrest.

ADG, Law and Order, Prashant Kumar said that special teams have been formed to arrest the main accused and that he would be arrested soon. Noida Police has also announced a reward for his arrest.

Every person visiting the society is being screened. Two PSOs have also been provided for the protection of the victim.
