New Delhi: Comedian Bharti Singh was on Saturday arrested after questioning by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team in Mumbai.
Bharti will be produced before the court on Sunday and will be kept in custody at the NCB office tonight.
Earlier, Bharti Singh and her husband, Harsh Limbachiyaa, were taken to NCB’s Mumbai office for questioning after the agency recovered “small quantity of cannabis” during a search of their home and office this morning.
“Both Bharti and her husband Harsh Limbachiya accepted consumption of Ganja. While Bharti Singh has been arrested, the examination of Harsh Limbachiya is underway,” news agncy ANI quoted NCB officials as saying.

Both Bharti Singh and her husband have confessed to having consumed cannabis, TV reports said.
Around 86.5 gms of Ganja was recovered and both Singh and Limbachiya accepted consumption.
This is the latest in a series of raids conducted at residences of big names associated with Bollywood. Earlier this month, actor Arjun Rampal’s home was searched, and both he and his girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades, were summoned for questioning.
