New Delhi: Congress leader K C Venugopal addressed a press conference today. He called Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar as “Big Assest”.
He also announced as Siddaramaiah as the new Karnataka Chief Minister and DK Shivakumar as the Deputy Chief Minister.
K C Venugopal also said that Shivakumar will continue as state party chief.

He also said that the oath taking ceremony will be held on Saturday (May 20).
KC Venugopal, General Secretary-Organisation, Congress said they will be inviting people from like-minded parties to take part in the swearing-in ceremony in Karnataka.
Randeep Surjewala during the press conference said that both Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar are the best for the role of Chief Minister.

According to reports,Shivakumar said that he had accepted the post of Deputy CM following an intervention by former Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
