Among the luxury items seized from Sukesh’s prison cell include wads of cash amounting, expensive Gucci slippers & jeans worth Rs 80,000/. His Gucci slippers are said to be estimated at about Rs 1.5 lakhs.

New Delhi: Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, currently lodged in Mondola jail, was driven to tears after a surprise raid team found a slew of luxurious items in his cell and also confiscated them.

An undated CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media. While the prison raiding team can be seen scanning through his belongings and cupboard, the conman keeps standing at a corner.

Among the luxury items seized from Sukesh’s prison cell include wads of cash amounting, expensive Gucci slippers & jeans worth Rs 80,000/. His Gucci slippers are said to be estimated at about Rs 1.5 lakhs.

After the raiding team left his cell, the conman can be seen crying with his face covered and also wiping tears on his sleeve.

The surprise prison inspection is a routine procedure carried out to recover any contraband including weapons, narcotics or any other thing sneaked into inmates’ cell.

The VIP treatment and luxurious life of conman inside the prison raises fresh concerns about alleged collusion between jail inmates & prison officials.

Sukesh, when lodged in Tihar jail had accused the top jail officials of running an extortion racket. He alleged that the officials took crores of money from him as bribe and in return helped facilitate access to mobile phones.

Conman Sukesh was arrested on charges of running over Rs 200 extortion racket & money laundering case. His recent ‘disclosures’ about linkages with some well-known Bollywood actresses kept the agencies scurrying for evidence and breaking the alleged nexus. His sensational allegations against Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain & letter to Delhi LG seeking probe drew attention of people as well as investigative agencies.
