New Delhi: A painful case of murder has come into light in Delhi’s Farsh Vihar area. The victim was beaten to death by his neighbour who tried to steal the elderly man’s vegetables. As the senior citizen raised his voice against the theft, the neighbour beat him to death with a lathi.

The deceased has been identified as Sant lal. He tried to prevent the accused, Nanhe, from fighting with the bhandara organisers.

However, according to the police, Nanhe suddenly picked up a stick and hit him on his head before fleeing. Santlal was taken to a hospital where he died. Police have registered a case of murder and are on the lookout for Nanhe who is absconding.
