
New Delhi: Ruckus created amid Municipal Corporation of Delhi Mayor Elections at MCD Civic Centre today before the commencement of voting.
According to the reports, the members of the BJP and AAP are protesting inside the civic centre.
The members can be heard pushing each other and also raising slogans inside the house.
Following huge protests by the BJP and AAP members, the MCD House was adjourned even before the commencement of voting for mayoral polls.

Councillors from both parties clashed that the Marshals had to make their presence felt. In the protests, several councillors were injured.

Following the incident, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) claimed that their councillors Anita Deoli, Inder Kaur and Kamaljeet Sherawat sustained injuries during the protest,

However, the Aam Aadmi Party shared the list of the injured on their social media platform.
AAP’s Atishi reaction
Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi launched an attack on the Congress calling their walkout during the voting of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Mayoral elections on Friday as planned.
She also said their walkout will only benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party, especially in the standing committee elections.
She alleged that Congress wants to help the BJP in the standing committee elections.
